On the afternoon of October 19, 2024, Professor Xiaomeng Zhu and Mr. Xia Zhilin from Wuhan University of Technology visited KEJIA (CHANGXING) MOULD BASE & FRAME MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. Mr. Su firstly introduced the development history of KEJIA (CHANGXING) MOULD BASE, the current industry status and the development of the project currently underway, etc. Professor Zhu introduced the basic situation of the School of Materials of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, the faculty strength, the mode of cooperation between industry, academia and research. For the current production process of the enterprise produced some production technology problems, the two sides discussed, especially for the future development trend of new energy automobile die-casting mold frame and 3D printing parts, both sides expressed a strong interest.3D printing has become a trend and started to be widely used in the design field, especially in industrial design, digital product molding, etc. It can complete the printing of a mold in a few hours, which saves a lot of time from the development of the product to put it into the market. In the second phase of the plant, kejia mould base  has a raw material laboratory and a R&D center. In the future, we will be more committed to building a high-tech and automated plant.

After the meeting, Mr. Su and Mr. Zheng accompanied the teachers to visit the Kejia mould base factory. Afterwards, Kejia will sort out some current technical difficulties and conduct research with experts and scholars from Wuhan Institute of Technology, with technology support, production efficiency is improved and quickly follow the trend of the times and technology front-end.
