Bedplate
This component is located inside the nacelle at the very top of the wind turbine. It serves as the core structural part connecting the main frame, the yaw system, and the tower below. Acting as the 'backbone', it supports key drive-train components such as the generator, main shaft, and bearing housings, ensuring coaxiality between the generator rotor and the main shaft. For direct-drive wind turbines (gearbox-less systems), where the rotor directly drives the generator, extremely high demands are placed on the geometric tolerance and stiffness of this base.

Product Features
  • Material: Typically made of high-strength nodular cast iron such as QT400-18AL. It must have excellent fatigue resistance and low-temperature impact toughness.

  • Thread Accuracy Assurance: The threads are produced using a CNC machining center milling process. Finished products are inspected with go/no-go gauges to ensure thread quality.

  • Anti-deformation Process: Wind turbine bases are prone to deformation during machining. We adopt a cutting process combining stress relief and coolant-assisted cold cutting, ensuring that flatness after machining is controlled within 0.1 mm per meter.

  • Surface Treatment: After machining, machined surfaces are typically treated with Dacromet or zinc spraying to prevent corrosion, while non-machined surfaces are coated with high-build epoxy paint.

  • Typical Customers: Leading wind power equipment companies both domestically and internationally.

  • CMM Inspection: After the product is machined, laser inspection is carried out and an inspection report is issued.
