Learning from Japan, Investing in New “Machinery”: Kejia Introduces Top-Tier Equipment to Strengthen High-End Manufacturing
Nov 20 , 2025

Recently, Kejia’s General Manager, together with the core teams from Technology and Production, completed a week-long technical exchange and procurement mission in Japan. The delegation conducted in-depth visits to MAKINO and OKUMA, two global benchmarks in precision manufacturing. Centered on the goals of technical advancement and equipment acquisition, the trip delivered dual results—enhancing both technological insight and hardware capability, and laying a solid foundation for the company’s high-end and intelligent manufacturing transformation.

During the visit to MAKINO, the team focused on Kejia’s core needs in precision machining, observing the entire process from micron-level parts manufacturing to fully intelligent assembly. Through close-up evaluation of high-speed machining centers, the team thoroughly reviewed equipment performance in precision control, complex part machining, and production efficiency. They also studied MAKINO’s mature practices in process optimization and green manufacturing. Based on Kejia’s practical challenges in high-end mold production, the team held deep technical discussions with MAKINO experts and ultimately confirmed procurement intentions for several key high-speed machining units—securing critical equipment to break current production bottlenecks.

At OKUMA, the highlight of the visit was the company’s integrated solution combining machine tools with its proprietary OSP CNC system. The team evaluated multi-functional machining centers, testing the “one setup, complete machining” approach and its significant impact on reducing production cycles and improving consistency. They also gained insights into how the OSP system enables equipment connectivity, data-driven operations, and flexible manufacturing. Through discussions with OKUMA’s senior leadership, both sides aligned on equipment maintenance, technical support, and localized service assurance, finalizing procurement cooperation for multiple advanced machining centers to support Kejia’s intelligent production line upgrades.

This Japan visit successfully achieved the dual objectives of technical learning and equipment procurement. The team not only absorbed cutting-edge processes and management expertise from world-class manufacturers—providing clear benchmarks for internal process optimization—but also completed targeted selection and acquisition of high-end equipment, directly strengthening Kejia’s core manufacturing capability.

Looking ahead, as the newly purchased equipment is gradually installed and commissioned, and the insights gained from the visits are implemented in practice, Kejia will further enhance its precision manufacturing capacity, accelerate its transition toward high-end and intelligent production, and secure a stronger position in global market competition.
